Georg Siebeck celebrates his 80th birthday

On September 23, 2026, Mohr Siebeck hosted a reception in honor of our publisher Georg Siebeck’s 80th birthday. Employees from all departments of the publishing house gathered to congratulate him in person on this special occasion and raise a toast with him.

His birthday coincides with the year of the publishing house’s 225th anniversary. Georg Siebeck served as the publishing house’s managing director until 2014 and is now the majority shareholder. Over the decades, he has played a key role in shaping the development of Mohr Siebeck.
