Summary
Jeroboam's II depiction in the Bible is short and largely inconspicuous. However, recent results from archaeology and historical geography allow us to apply to Jeroboam II some achievements that biblical writers attributed to other agents (notably Solomon and Jeroboam ben Nebat). Following this discussion, the present contribution will conclude by briefly considering the language and literature of Jeroboam's II Israel.
