Volume 29 (2026) / Price per volume (2 issues with approx. 280 pages)
The Zeitschrift für Neues Testament takes up central theological themes of the New Testament and reads them against the horizon of current social and theological debate. Rather than pursuing specialised exegetical questions in a language open only to insiders, it seeks conversation beyond the boundaries of the discipline: between scholarly interpretation of the text and the practice of church, school, and society at large. The design of each issue serves this purpose, opening up a single theme from a range of perspectives.
Submission and review
ZNT publishes curated thematic issues planned by the editors. Unsolicited submissions of individual articles are therefore not possible.
Proposals for thematic issues – whether an initial idea or a fully developed concept – are welcome. Please contact Prof. Dr. Susanne Luther, susanne.luther@theologie.uni-goettingen.de.
Authors who wish to publish an individual article are invited to consider whether their contribution would suit the journal Early Christianity (EC).
