Geschichte des frühen Christentums

The first volume "Jesus and Judaism" focuses on the overall temporal and content framework of an early history of Christianity, starting with the appearance of John the Baptist around 27/28 AD and the public activity of Jesus, who was presumably crucified on Passover 30 AD. In dealing with the Anabaptist and the work and Passion of Jesus, the later history of tradition is also taken into account. A brief description of the political, social, and religious conditions in Palestine during the first centuries before and after Christ is also included.
