- As a rule, all new publications will also be available as eBooks (approx. 400 per year)

Which titles are available as eBooks?
All new books are published at the same time both in print and electronically, with the exception of commentaries, editions, text editions, and individual publications.

In what format are the eBooks available?
All eBooks are available as PDFs.
Where can the eBooks be obtained?
Each ebook or ebook bundle can be ordered directly from us and used in the Mohr Siebeck eLibrary. They can also be found on Ebook Central.
eBooks of our utb editions are available directly from utb.

New: Digitize on Demand
Upon customer request, selected titles not yet available in digital form can be converted into
eBooks and made accessible.
These newly created eBooks:
- Will be available for individual purchase or inclusion in Pick & Choose models
- Automatically supplement active Evidence Based Selection (EBS) agreements, ensuring that your holdings stay up to date with new digital content
New Pricing 2026
A 2x pricing factor vs. print price will be applied to all eBooks beginning 2026 excluding textbooks
and little white paperbacks.
This adjustment does not apply to:
- existing backlist packages will remain available at their current price models.
- ongoing series subscriptions will remain available at their current price models.
- EBS, new or renewed before 1st December 2025: for the selection for perpetual access to be made at the end of the term in 2026, the current pricing model will still apply.
- Different conditions apply to textbooks; please contact the sales department.
What types of access does the Mohr Siebeck eLibrary offer?
- Campus-wide access / Unlimited simultaneous access
- Perpetual access to purchased content / Long-term archiving via certified external providers
- Soft DRM (watermarking) for all eBooks
- DOI on book level (eBook DOI corresponds to eISBN)
- OpenURL enabled
- ORCID integration (where available) on detail pages and in metadata
- Export of bibliographic data in RIS or BibTeX formats for all users
- Management of eBook packages and individual titles through the administration area
What rights of use are to be observed?
Details are given in the respective terms of use and contract for aggregators and in the eLibrary’s terms of use.
When will the eBooks be published?
As close to the publication of the print version as possible and within four weeks at the latest.
Metadata and statistics
- Metadata download via link in MARC 21 and MARC XML formats
- Usage statistics available for download in the admin area

What do eBooks cost?
eBooks have the same gross retail price as our printed books. For titles available in different covers, the price for the cloth-bound edition applies.
How does it all work?
After you have bought a book and it has been activated by us, you will be able to open it either on its own page or in your user account.
When will the eBooks be published?
As close to the publication of the print version as possible and within four weeks at the latest.
