Manuscripts
Manuscripts and editorial queries are to be sent to the managing editor (Professor Dr. Angelika Nußberger, E-Mail: angelika.nussberger@uni-koeln.de), review requests and questions about business matters to the publisher.
Acceptance for publication will be given in writing within two months of a manuscript having been received and on the condition that it has not been previously published or offered elsewhere for publication.
On being accepted for publication in a journal, a Festschrift or a collection of essays, the exclusive copyright to a contribution is granted to Mohr Siebeck. The publisher then has the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the contribution as well as to make it publicly accessible online. The author retains the right to distribute the e-offprint of the contribution for private use (e.g., via e-mail), but not to make it accessible to the public (e.g., at any website, intranet or repository).
For journal articles, exclusivity ends 12 months following publication, for chapters in edited volumes after 24 months. Correspondingly, authors may then (a) reproduce and distribute a print version of their contribution; (b) grant another publisher non-exclusive permission to reprint the article following publication with us; (c) make the print identical version accessible online for non-commercial purposes only. In all cases, full reference is to be made to the original Mohr Siebeck publication and, for journal contributions only and where applicable, mention made of the article's DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
