Ernst Troeltsch in seinen Briefen III

The review discusses Ernst Troeltsch's »letters« from the years 1919 – 1922. The volume was published as volume 14 in the collected works of Ernst Troeltsch (Ernst-Troeltsch-Gesamtausgabe) and contains the »Spectator-» and »Berliner Briefe« of the philosopher of religion and cultural historian. These reflect Troeltsch's observations and assessments of contemporary historical events in an impressive way, apart from bearing witness to the overall role he ascribes to Protestantism.
