The article places The Nomos of the Earth in its historical context, emphasizes past-political allusions and voids, and considers Schmitt's work, going beyond Land and Sea, as a positioning on air warfare, which Schmitt, unlike in his correspondence with Ernst Jünger, deliberately omitted to overtly encode in anti-semitic terms likr the »bird Ziz«, the heir to the struggle of Leviathan and Behemoth.
