Die achtzehn Aufsätze, die im vorliegenden Band versammelt sind, sind die Ergebnisse eines internationalen Workshops, »Die Lehre von Moral in der Antike: Weisheitstexte, mündliche Überlieferungen und Bilder«, der an der Bibliotheca Albertina an der Universität Leipzig von 29. November bis zum 1. Dezember 2016 stattfand.
